Join us for a day of action as the politicians begin their first official day
of campaigning for re-election. As Paul Martin's Liberal government begins to
dissolve, we are preparing for the entrance of a new set of politicians and
bureaucrats. Joe Volpe has been Immigration Minister for 9 months and did
absolutely nothing to end deportations, detentions, or do away with the racist
security certificates. He may not be Immigration Minister for much longer, but
no matter who takes over, whether they be Liberal, Conservative, or otherwise,
they will not be able to hide from the demands of immigrants and refugees for
justice.

A Solidarity Across Borders delegation will be visiting several prominent
Members of Parliament and putting them On Notice. We've signed petitions,
written letters, made phone calls, organized demonstrations, rallies, and
pickets. We've marched to Ottawa and we will not got on unheard!

Beginning at Paul Martin's downtown office the delegation will demand that they
put an end to the policies that perpetuate the war on immigrants and refugees.
