\"\"<\/a>Yesterday evening (September 9, 2013), more than 50 people gathered on the basis of a callout by No One Is Illegal Montreal (http:\/\/nooneisillegal-montreal.blogspot.ca\/2013\/09\/9-septembre-rencontre-contre-le-projet.html<\/a>) in order to discuss mobilizations against the proposed Charter of Quebec Values. Many ideas were shared, including the organization of a demonstration, popular education efforts, and more.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our name as a coalition will be \u201cEnsemble contre les chartes x\u00e9nophobes\u201d. If you would like to be part of this effort against racism, sexism and xenophobia, please contact\u00a0nooneisillegal@gmail.com<\/a>\u00a0for more details about meetings and upcoming events. We decided on a date and time for a demonstration against xenophobia and against the proposed Charter. The demonstration will be SUNDAY, OCTOBER 20 at 1pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n
