Invoking outrageously its \u201cright to defend itself\u201d, Israel is once again laying waste to Gaza\u2026<\/div>\n
With an illegal and immoral blockade already condemning the population of Gaza to slow death, with entire neighbourhoods now bombed into ruins, with mosques, schools and other shelters targeted for direct attacks, the casualties number in the thousands \u2026<\/div>\n
As the carnage continues, the Harper government continues its unconditional support for Israeli aggression and blames all the horror and destruction on the Palestinians themselves. Meanwhile, there is a shameful failure on the part of all the federal opposition parties to meet their minimum responsibility of demanding that Israel abide by international law\u2026<\/div>\n

Faced with all these crimes committed in broad daylight with the unspeakable overt or tacit support of Canadian politicians, we call on the people of Qu\u00e9bec to make their voices heard loud and clear and demand:<\/p>\n

– AN IMMEDIATE END TO ALL FORMS OF ISRAELI AGGRESSION<\/p>\n

– AN END TO THE BLOCKAGE OF GAZA<\/p>\n

– AN END TO ISRAELI OCCUPATION AND COLONIZATION OF PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES<\/p>\n

– A REAL SOLUTION TO THE CONFLICT, BASED ON JUSTICE AND RESPECT FOR INTERNATIONAL LAW
