In the coming weeks or months, the Federal Cabinet will decide on the criteria of Canada’s first broad regularization programme in half a century. This victory for human dignity and justice comes after decades of struggle by migrants for status for all. Migrants and their supporters are visiting cabinet ministers across Canada on October 16th to say full, permanent status now for all 500,000 undocumented people and all 1.2 million other migrants in Canada with temporary status.

In Montreal, a caravan will deliver messages to the riding offices of Justin Trudeau, David Lametti, Mark Miller, Mélanie Joly, Pablo Rodriguez and Steven Guilbeault, the six federal cabinet ministers with seats in Montreal.
