Solidarity Across Borders is organizing a 1-day teach-in to provide a space for discussion and learning about migrant justice issues, in the context of current debates around migrants and refugees. The presentations are intended both for people new to these issues, and for those who wish to deepen their understanding. This teach-in will also focus on local struggles against deportations, and to build a Solidarity City. The day of workshops and presentations will culminate with a community dinner.
Presentations during the teach-in include:
– The refugee “crisis” and grassroots migrant justice struggles in Europe (1pm)
– Collective struggles against deportations in Montreal (1pm)
