(April 27) Workshop-Discussion and Banner Making: For a Solidarity City (Café Artère)

The Northeast contingent of the “Status for All” March (regrouping Villeray, Parc-Extension, St-Michel, Ahuntsic, Rosemont-Petite-Patrie and the Mile Endinvites you to a Workshop-Discussion, on Saturday April 27th. Two members of Solidarity Across Borders will present and exchange on the topic of migrants justice struggles.

Themes related to the struggles of migrant persons will be discussed, such as the unjust immigration and refugee system, detentions and deportations, as well as the abolition of double punishment. The Solidarity City Declaration and the upcoming Status For All march, held on May 18th, will also be discussed.

This will be a great opportunity for community organizations that are considering endorsing the Declaration and the March to share their questions/concerns.

We will also have an art space for people who want to help create banners and posters for the May 18th March.
